Activate and pause an ad group
You can activate and pause ad groups for launched campaigns only. An ad group must be active to enable weighting and spending.
The system doesn’t automatically prompt you to activate ad groups.
Launch the campaign.
In the Active campaigns list, click the name of the campaign. The Ad Groups list appears.
In the Action column, click Manage > Activate Ad Group (or Pause Ad Group). The status of the ad group is updated.
