Add creative to a campaign

Peacock Ad Manager will prompt you to add creative to your campaign at the appropriate point in the workflow. Creative is tied to an ad group.

You can add a creative to your ad group in several ways.

Assign an existing creative asset to your ad group

Upload a new video file

Upload a new creative asset by VAST tag

All creative previously uploaded for this advertiser appears in the list.

  1. Locate the creative(s) you want to assign to this ad group and click Assign. There’s no limit to the number of creatives you can assign.

  2. Click Next: Manage Creative. The Step 2: Manage Creative screen appears.

  3. By default, the title of all creative assets is the filename of the asset file you’re uploading. If desired, type a new name in the Creative Title field.

  4. (Optional) Specify the language of the creative.

  5. (Optional) Specify the type (even or weighted) and percentage for creative rotation.

  6. (Optional) Click Add Click URL to enter the webpage where a user goes to they click on the ad.

  7. (Optional) Click Add Impression Tracking Pixel to add your 3rd party data tracking pixel to the creative.

This is different than adding tracking pixels to your website.

  1. Click Save Creative.

  1. Click +Upload Video.

  2. On the Upload Video screen, click Select Files to browse your computer or drag and drop the file into the designated area. A progress bar appears showing the progress of the upload.
    ✅ To remove the creative, click the trash can to the right of the file.

  3. (Optional) Click +Add Creative to upload additional creative to this ad group.

  4. Click Next: Manage Creative. The Step 2: Manage Creative screen appears.

  5. By default, the title of all creative assets is the filename of the asset file you’re uploading. If desired, type a new name in the Creative Title field.

  6. (Optional) Specify the language of the creative.

  1. Click Save Creative.

  1. Click +Add by VAST Tag.

  2. On the Upload Video screen, type the name of the file in the Creative Title field, and enter the url for the VAST tag.

  3. Click Next: Manage Creative. The Step 2: Manage Creative screen appears.

Unassign creative

You can unassign a a creative from an ad group at any time.

  1. Open the campaign and click the ad group you want to change creative for.

  2. Scroll to the Creative section.

  3. Click Edit Creative.

  4. Scroll through the list until you find the assigned creative that you want to remove from the ad group.

  5. Hover over the button. The label changes to Unassign.

  6. Click Unassign.

  7. Assign or add a new creative, if needed.

    1. If you had only one creative assigned, you’re required to assign or add a new one before moving to the next step.

  8. Click Next: Manage Creative.

  9. Click Save Creative.
